TrialNet is an international network of leading academic institutions, endocrinologists, physicians, scientists and healthcare teams dedicated to preventing type 1 diabetes and stopping disease progression by preserving insulin production before and after diagnosis. Funded primarily by the US National Institutes of Health (Special Statutory Funding Program for Type 1 Diabetes), with support from Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and the American Diabetes Association. What we offer: - Pathway to Prevention: free risk screening for eligible relatives of people with T1D (ages 2-45 in the US and Canada) - Prevention studies for people at elevated risk - Newly diagnosed studies to slow progression and preserve beta cell function There are 200+ screening and study locations across the US and worldwide.
