In the UK, the charity funds research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes, campaigns to improve access to treatments and technology, and provides support, resources and a voice for people living with type 1 diabetes and their families. Breakthrough T1D works with researchers, clinicians, the NHS, policymakers, industry and the wider type 1 diabetes community to accelerate progress and improve everyday life for people affected by T1D.
